Series: Boss vs Leader

Series: Career Plot Twist

Habis buat biaya maket skripsi, dong. Circle of life anak arsitektur banget kan: cari project, dapat duit, duitnya balik lagi ke maket. Repeat until lulus 🤣. Nah, setelah lulus, dimulailah perjalanan karier gue.

Justru kebalikannya: low-key, tenang, tapi super strategis. Cara ngomongnya singkat, to the point, dan jelas banget kalau dia udah kebal sama politik kantor.

Work Hard? Nah. In Indonesia It’s Who You Know, Not What You Know

NGL… Indonesia Feels Stuck Because of Corruption & Nepotism Sometimes I ask myself: why does it feel like no matter how hard people try, Indonesia keeps running on the same toxic habits? Two things keep showing up in my daily frustrations: corruption and nepotism . It’s like—everyone knows it’s bad, but we just laugh it off. Almost like it’s part of our “local wisdom.” And honestly? That mindset drives me nuts. 1. Corruption: “Just slip them some money” Want something done faster? Pay a little extra. Want to avoid a fine? Just hand over some “coffee money.” It’s so normalized that people joke about it like it’s a life hack. But here’s the thing— fact is, Indonesia still sits at 110th out of 180 countries on the Corruption Perception Index (2023) . That basically means corruption is still everywhere, from the top level to everyday interactions. Meanwhile, Singapore ranked 5th . Over there, if a public official dares to take a bribe, the consequences are real and immediate. The...

Why INTJs Judge Too Quickly (And How I’m Learning to Slow Down)

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on myself and noticed one thing: I tend to judge things too quickly. It’s not always negative, but sometimes I form opinions about people, situations, or decisions in just a few seconds. As an INTJ personality type , this makes sense. INTJs are wired to analyze fast, connect the dots, and make quick conclusions. Efficient? Yes. But fair? Not always. Why Does This Happen? Fast logic = incomplete picture My brain works like a processor—spotting patterns instantly. The problem? First impressions don’t always show the full truth. The need for control Quick judgment makes me feel like I “understand” the situation. It’s comforting, but sometimes misleading. High standards INTJs are naturally idealistic. Without realizing it, I sometimes measure people by my own (often high) standards. Is It Normal? Totally. Everyone judges fast sometimes. For INTJs, it just happens more often because of how our minds work. So it’s not “wrong,” but it can be...

Why Singapore is the World’s Shipping & Trade Hub: 5 Reasons Every Business Should Know

When you think of global trade and shipping, Singapore often pops up as the busiest, most efficient, and most reliable port in the world. But have you ever wondered why so many ships from different countries stop in Singapore before heading to their final destinations ? Let’s dive into the five big reasons that make Singapore a shipping powerhouse. 1. Perfect Location: At the Heart of Global Shipping Routes Singapore is strategically located along the Strait of Malacca , one of the busiest maritime routes on the planet. This narrow waterway connects the Indian Ocean to the South China Sea , linking major economies like: Europe → Asia Middle East → East Asia Africa → Pacific nations Instead of taking longer, costlier detours, ships can pass through Singapore, making it the ultimate rest stop and intersection for global maritime traffic. 2. World-Class Port Infrastructure The Port of Singapore is consistently ranked among the top container ports in the world....
